Durante patrulhamento na região, os policiais identificaram um homem que tentou fugir ao notar a presença da viatura. Após uma rápida ação, ele foi detido, e com ele foram encontrados: 41,4 kg de maconha, 1,444 kg de crack, 234 g de cocaína, 1 pistola TS9 com dois carregadores, 17 munições calibre 9 mm, 1 revólver calibre .38, 6 munições calibre .38, 1 kit Roni, 2 celulares e 2 balaclavas. Além do suspeito, uma mulher foi conduzida juntamente com o material apreendido à Delegacia de Polícia Civil em Goianinha para os procedimentos legais. A Operação Protetor segue intensificando o combate ao tráfico de drogas e ao crime organizado em todo o estado.
